INVITATION TO THE 10th ANNIVERSARY PARTY OF USP ON SEPTEMBER 8th!
ONE LOVE! ONE HEART! LET’S GET TOGETHER AND FEEL ALRIGHT!
On 8th September 2012 we are going to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ultrà Sankt Pauli with an excessive festivity – and we are going to celebrate it the way it’s supposed to be. Looking back at the last ten years, a lot of memories and moments come to our minds. Memories of so many deep and honest feelings, so much pioneering spirit in our old corner of former “Gegengerade” at the stadium. There were loads of throwbacks on one hand, but as well loads of passion on the other. Each of the 10 candles on our birthday cake stands for so many stories, feelings and moments – we would not want to miss one single drip of wax of those candles. They are all part of the great history of the biggest fan group ever seen at Sankt Pauli. Every drawback, every success and every action are a stroke of brush on this wonderful painting. Each stroke represents who, how and what we are: Part of the special fan scene of FC St. Pauli, being the heart and the soul of our club, this is everything that counts.
We were born 10 years ago into a world that was a poor copy of what our ancestors in the organized fan scene have built and left. It was a difficult but precious legacy, as it stood for the whole identity of our club. We accepted the challenge and more than once in 10 years “Let’s push things forward” was made our mission statement. It is and was the mission statement of an Ultrà group that always used to be different, a group that made a different point of view and different ideals to the base of its mentality.
When the last empty bottles will have been collected, the last drunken yobovs fell asleep under St. Pauli’s rising sun and the last candles on our birthday cake have been blown out, we’ll carry on with our mission. We will keep on dreaming. We will keep on creating our lives, our stands and our club the way we like it – the only way we are able to do it. We will keep on seeking the truth beyond normality. Beyond the normality those grave diggers of our football culture are trying to make everybody’s reality. On the steps of our stands the colourful flowers of our ideas are going to keep on flourishing. We will start to create new candles for our next birthday cake. They might be a bit different to the 10 candles before, but still as dazzling and unshaped – and of course created with loads of love and passion.
The festivities will start at early afternoon on September 8th with drinks and snacks, prior to the main party at 8 pm at the “Knust”, so please be prepared to be with us all afternoon and night, if not even all weekend. As there is only limited space at the “Knust”, please let us know as soon as possible how many tickets you need. We are looking forward to welcome all of you that were, are and will be close to us. We are looking forward to an unforgettable day and night nobody would want to miss. It will be a date that will illustrate both where we are coming from and where we are going.
